Climb into a plane and fly off for a weekend visit with family and friends. Soar above your hometown, seeing streets and landmarks in entirely new ways. Or simply enjoy the serenity and silence of your own high-altitude “Zen.”

Aviators have stepped up to help in a variety of missions including patient transport, disaster support, first response, child adoption/foster care, domestic abuse relocation, veteran flights, and so much more!

FLY FOR CAREER

Many aspiring pilots have dreams of taking their passion for aviation and turning it into a career. Aviators can fly for airline transportation, charter services, corporations, touring, agricultural, medical, and pipeline inspection industries. Aviation will take you places no road can!

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Purchase course material (King Schools or Sporty’s Learn To Fly Course). Approx. $200 purchased directly from a retailer.

  • Obtain, at minimum, a 3rd class medical/student pilot's certificate.

  • Ground Training, Flight Training, and Solo Flights will be conducted in accordance with all FAR Regulations.

    • A Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/II) will be utilized when needed.

  • A written test is required and needs to be passed prior to your checkride with a designated examiner to obtain you PPL.

  • 40 hours of training is the minimum time required to obtain your PPL, but 50-60 hours is the national average.

  • Renting our aircraft allows you the time and flexibility needed to complete your studies to obtain your PPL - pressure free!

  • You'll get to work at your own pace and set your own goals!

FLIGHT INSTRUCTION COST

Flight Instruction (when needed): $60 per hour


Ground Instruction: $60 per hour


Aircraft Rental (fuel included): $155 per hour

Full-Day Rental: 3-hour minimum flight time per rental day. Hours charged at current rental rate.
 

Purchase Block Time of $500 and receive a $25 credit!*

We recommend budgeting $9,000-$12,000+ for a basic Private Pilot's License. This cost can vary depending on current rates and the length of time taken to complete all the required training.

MILITARY FUNDED

We are 1 of 2 flight instruction venders in Ohio to offer credentialing assistance to current Active Army, Army Reserves, and Army National Guard soldiers through the Army IgnitED program. Funding up to $4000 per fiscal year is available for those who qualify. Please find us on ArmyIgnitED.com or reach out to us for assistance and questions.
